Asturian born Rody Herrera grew up in Madrid where he started playing live since the age of thirteen, even teaming up with several important musicians of the Spanish pop and rock scene: Pedro Guerrero (Labanda), Ramón Arroyo (Los Secretos)... He has since developed an over twenty year long career as a highly respected backup guitarist in such styles as blues, funky, folk and jazz.
